About: Blue seems to be the predominant colour for the beach huts at Friars Cliff. The weather this year has not been the best and a beach hut rather than the sands would be the ideal place to be in some of the recent heavy downpours.

About: This very popular beach was nearly empty on the day we visited as it was cold and cloudy most of the time. Dogs are not permitted on the beach during the summer season but can walk along the promenade in front of the beach huts.
