About: This pretty signpost on the outskirts of Witchampton gives directions to Wimborne Minster, Moor Crichel, Long Crichel and some equally strange sounding names in the other direction .

About: This lovely old bridge at Witchampton is worth looking over. The river and surrounding greenery are typical of many of this type and it is possible to spot the shadows of small fish as they swim by.

About: Witchampton is situated on the River Allen about five miles north of Wimborne Minster and had a population of nearly 400 in 2001. The Old House is a listed Grade II building with part of the original timber frame being replaced by brickwork.

About: The view as you enter Witchampton is green and lush and it is worth stopping to admire the view and read the notices on either side of the bridge. On the day that we visited there was very little traffic which made taking photographs easier.
