About: This strange stand up paddle surfing is called Ku Hoe He’e Nalu by the Hawaiians which literally translates as “to stand, to paddle, to surf, a wave.” It has been likened to walking on water and is apparently very good exercise

About: Conditions on the day we visited Highcliffe beach were not ideal. There was a very strong wind blowing that whipped up the sand and made us pull our hats down over our ears. The windsurfers did not seem to be such wimps and raced along at tremendous ......

About: We visited Highcliffe at Christchurch on a very windy and quite bleak day but it was obviously ideal weather conditions for wind surfing. The speed of the surfers was amazing.
