About: Today Briantspuddle looks like an idyllic Dorset village and although popular with visitors, remains relatively unspoilt. There are no car parks or souvenir shops but community life is active and vibrant.

About: Briantspuddle takes its name from Brian de Turberville who was lord of the manor during the reign of Edward III but in 1803 it was called "Pidele" and by the 13th century, the village was known as "Priestpidele"
