About: When we arrived at Bridehead Lake there was no sign of its duck occupants. As shown in another of our photographs it did not take long for them to spot us and come hurrying along hopeful of a titbit or two.

About: As soon as we arrived at Bridehead Lake the ducks came swimming towards us ever hopeful that we had bread or something to feed them with. Next time we go to Little Bredy we will make sure we don't disappoint the ducks again.

About: It is possible to walk from the churchyard at Little Bredy and go through part of the grounds of Bridehead to find a sparkling lake which was formed by damming the springs which are the start of the river.

About: St. Michael and All Angels parish church is a chapelry to Long Bredy. The church we see today is largely a rebuild of a medieval building although the tower and part of the chancel survive intact of this early church.
