Place: Lulworth Cove

About: The unique shape of the Lulworth cove is as a direct result of wave diffraction. Because of the narrow entrance to the cove the waves enter and then they bend into an arced shape. At the back of the cove there is chalk which the sea has been unable to erode as fast as it does not dissolve in the sea acids.
