About: These brightly coloured boats moored in the turquoise sea at Ringstead Bay make an interesting photograph.
Although this is a tranquil scene, west of Ringstead Bay is a succession of ledges that make the area dangerous at times. Hannah's Ledge, Frenchman's Ledge, Pool Ledge, Bran Ledge, Perry Ledge and Ringstead Ledge are all named after shipwrecks in the area.
