About: The New Inn at Cerne Abbas was originally a 13th century single storey dormitory for monks & pilgrims visiting the old abbey. In the 16th century it became a coaching inn and today there is an A la carte menu that includes, fish game, meat and vegetarian. The inn also provides children's dishes and there is an ever changing chef's specials menu
