About: Houns-tout cliff is a shale formation that is capped with yellowish exposures of Purbeck stone. The cliff towers 500 feet above Chapmans Pool, the undercliff of Molly's garden projects seawards at Egmont Point and eastwards is Emmetts Hill with its limestone crags but this is only 400 feet.
