Place: Bowleaze Cove

About: Jordan's Temple is probably not visited by the vast majority of people who visit Bowleaze Cove. When making a trip to the cove it is possible to park on the hill and enjoy a walk along the cliff paths. A very very short distance from the road and up Jordan Hill are the foundations of a 4th century Romano-Celtic temple. Outside of the temple in the surrounding fields there were found the remains of about 100 burials. It is the River Jordan that flows into Bowleaze Cove.
