About: The church of St. Michael at Winterbourne Steepleton is a fairly long and narrow building of stone.It is built in the Perpendicular style and consists of a chancel and nave, south porch, and a tower with hexagonal spire and four pinnacles which contain one bell. The north and south doorways are Norman and inside the fine woodwork includes the pulpit which has carved 17th century panels.
