About: The village of Wool lies at the historic bridging point on the River Frome which is half way between Dorchester and Wareham. It is the home of Woolbridge Manor House, a 14th century building, where Tess spent her honeymoon in Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles.
