About: It is great to look at the castle ruins without their scaffolding etc. Two years work to protect the Castle from the elements has been completed and it was just in time as this year has seen one of the worst winters in a long time The restoration work was part-funded by the SITA Trust in fact their grant of £250,000 was the biggest grant it has ever made
